yay convention!!!!! :)

nope, this isn't shim city. and this isn't ben's detroit big major convention dealie.

this mini-convention is taking place in the beautiful and warm golden state of california!!!!!!

so where did this whole idea came up? the lovely and talented alyssa jones <hi rickie!!>, when our favorite actress shimelle decided it was time to get moving to california!!!! :) shimmy asked the great muppet guru if he could spend a weekend to show 'er a bit of santa barbara, in deciding the where's for the nifty move!! :) so yeah, laura spoke up about how she could come too and drive <since kermit happens to not own a car> and visit sb with us... and the whole thing sprung from there into this!!!! sadly, shimmy prolly won't be visiting cali while the convention is taking place :( :( :( but... the idea still lives on. and thanks to our muppet crazed friends in pikestreet, this is going to, like, actually happen!!!

okay, so yeah, you came to this page for the information, so I might as well give it, right??? :)

everything is somewhat under construction, but here are the plans.....

starting date? : saturday, march 21st, 1998

ending date? : wednesday, march 25th, 1998 <note this - we *tink*>

where? and t'ings to do? : santa barbara, didneyland, shadow park thingie, swing dancin' <muahahaha go daddy-o!>, a life marathon, the jersey trilogy, big lasagna feast, titanic viewing ;), and other places in the southern california area! :)

who? : hrm... the so-called convention list.... laura, sunshine celes rose raynee shana, skeie!!!!!!, stormy weather shana <we tink>, the great muppet guru and swingster jack dawson ;), captain ej smith <eric>, brooks the crack dealer, scott <kilian sabre>, slakala!, the lovers, the dreamers and YOU!!!!

places to stay : okay so this isn't determined. laura is pitching up her place for the 22nd :), we know that.... but otherwise, anywhere else is unknown. <no, scott's place is not a hotel, against *some* common thought, so be ready to pay for a cheap hotel!!!!!!>

yay!!! :) we *wish* that all these fellow muppets will show up, but we aren't entirely sure. :) well, *I* know I'll be there, and so will rayanne and rickie. wishfully everyone else will be there too!!

we are going to have such a time!!!!!

lotsa stuff is totally unknown and stuff so far, but *this* will happen!!!!! we promise! and we want everybody to come!!!! yeah, <pointingly> that means *you*! so yeah, e-mail us and let us know you're moving right along with us!!! or even ideas and stuff of where to go and such!!!!!! :) and of course, keep checking back here, cuz this page is always going to be updated as our lives progress towards the big 21. ;) the date where our so-called lives collide :) yay!!!! :)
